Compliance Reviews

Gaming Operations and regulatory bodies alike often are unaware that they are lacking control or are out of compliance. One solution we recommend is to engage in a review of your facility to assess the level of compliance with the areas listed below. Once the compliance level has been assessed, action plans can be developed to correct any deficiencies. Compliance reviews can be completed on all areas, or just one depending on your needs. Reviews are different from audits as they are for management use to improve upon deficiencies and are not reported to NIGC.

Title 31

Assess compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act regulations including Currency Transaction and Suspicious Activity Reporting and Title 31 Compliance Programs.

Title 26

Assess compliance and the overall processing with regard to Title 26 regulations and IRS forms reporting including W-2G's, 1099-MISC's, 1042-S, Withholding Payments, and other IRS issues.

MICS Review

Assess compliance all gaming areas of the property with regard to the NIGC's Minimum Internal Control Standards.

Internal Control Review

Review internal control policies and procedures to ensure that adequate controls are in place to protect assets. Also assess your properties compliance with their own policies and procedures or Tribal Internal Control Standards.

EPHS

Assess compliance with the NIGC Environmental, Public Health and Safety requirements including Emergency Action Plans.

State Compact

Assess compliance with the state compact requirements.
